Trevis Belle

Young people across the world are giving up more of their time to donate to good causes.

In 2014, Trevis Belle wanted to get rid of the negative stereotypes that plagued his community of McKnight in the beautiful St. Kitts and Nevis, as it was mostly associated with gangs, violence and crime.  As a respected youth leader, avid volunteer and youth activist, not only in McKnight but St. Kitts at large – Trevis decided to combine these passions and create an organization that embodies them to carry out a big but achievable goal.

He always had a passion of giving back and volunteering, so through this he started his non-profit organization, M.A.D.E St. Kitts, which was set up to raise awareness about the importance of volunteerism among young people through education, mentoring, training and development programs.  Since the start of MADE, Trevis has been lauded of his work to getting young persons off the streets and to occupy themselves with something worthwhile.

In June, Trevis was selected as one of the winners of The Queen’s Young Leader Award, recognizing and celebrating exceptional people aged 18-29 from across the Commonwealth, who are taking the lead in their communities and using their skills to transform lives.

To date the organization has been recognized locally - as one of few community groups to be used in the Government’s REACH Scholarship initiative, regionally as it now has 3 other branches in the Caribbean (Trinidad, St. Lucia and Grenada - all which were launched in 2015) and 1 in Europe (the United Kingdom launched in 2016) to date that has been one of our major achievements!
