Teachers Across Borders' Co-Founder and Executive Director for US operations, Dr. Marilynn Hitchens, calls in from Colorado to discuss her organization's challenges and goals. 

And finally, in our Hero of the Week segment, John tells the tale of a young man, Yash Gupta, who turned breaking his own eyeglasses into a personal quest to bring better vision to the hundreds of millions worldwide who can't afford glasses of their own.  In 2010, Yash launched his charity, Sight Learning.
