Remmi Smith

Remmington Smith, the teenage television cooking show host of Cook Time with Remmi and author of "Global Cooking for Kids: Your Passport to Flavor & Fun."

Cook Time with Remmi is a health based company for kids and families, and Chef Club Box, a subscription snack box service delivering healthy, on-the-go snacks each month. She first started in 2008 at the age of eight years old by hosting an online cooking show featuring kid-friendly and healthy recipes.

Remmi's mission to bring nutritious and affordable food to young people and their families has found her working alongside national organizations, corporations, and personalities such as No Kid Hungry, Sodexo, and Rachael Ray.

She is a National Honor Society Scholar, a Spotlight honoree by the U.S. Department of Women's Health and Human Services, a sought-after national speaker for teen entrepreneurs, a celebrity chef for the Komen Foundation's Chefs for a Cure and the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women initiatives, a celebrity chef and judge for the Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas and Oklahoma, and a winner of more cooking and community honors than we have time to list.

Remmi joins us today to talk about how her adventures in cooking have improved the health and battled the hunger of children in need.
