Lauren Coaxum

Lauren, 19, and her sister Victoria, 17, are the founders of Think Before You Type, an anti-cyberbullying and positive self-esteem organization.  Their goals are to raise awareness about cyberbullying, promote positive self-esteem, and encourage other young people to use the internet for good.  They strive to do this through work on the internet and in the community.

Victoria is a senior in high school and she is currently studying abroad in Indonesia.  She plans on becoming a neurosurgeon.  Laura, who will be joining us today, is currently a junior and a pre-med major at Marymount University.

Since the summer of 2012, Think Before You Type, has devoted its energy to passionately fighting to create a safer internet and has been working to encourage and empower young people worldwide.  They work online and in the community to achieve their goals through speaking engagements, interviews with influential figures, their video "Dares", and more.

Lauren joins us on today's show.
