For this week's Hero of the Week segment, we're recognizing the efforts of five incredible young ladies from Mrs. Katie Keenan's sixth grade class at Garnet Valley Middle School in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Keenan has been teaching English at Garnet Valley for nine years, where she's been making a difference not only in the classroom but also in the community by helping her students organize Warm Clothing Drives and Veterans Day Assemblies. Mrs. Keenan is joining us today with the school's first-year French teacher, Lori Belinsky, and Katie, a sixth-grader and avid field hockey player who's speaking on the behalf of these amazing kids who are making a difference.
