Dalton Cyr

Dalton Cyr

Singer, songwriter, and now actor Dalton Cyr has been a frequent Peace Fund Radio Hero of the Week for always finding new ways to channel his talents into helping children who've been bullied, children whose parents serve in the military overseas, and children who've been hospitalized.

We talked to him by phone on our January 1, 2014 show, and he joined us in the studio for our February 19 and November 5 shows last year.  Even his 93-year-old grandmother, Gracie, was a Hero of the Week for opening her home to 98 foster children in her 93 years.

Dalton has some huge new projects on the horizon, and he spent the month of July on tour for our wish-fulfilling friends at The Dream Factory, for whom he's a National Ambassador.

The Dream Factory is the largest children’s wish-granting organization that does not limit its mission to children who have life-threatening illness. The organization believes children with chronic illnesses and disorders also suffer from substantial emotional and physical pain. We strive to provide hope and relief from the trauma and corresponding stress and depression that both the children and their families can endure on a day-to-day basis. Doctors agree that providing a dream can improve the quality of life for these children and extend the life of a critically ill child.
