Aidan Aird is a 16-year-old from Ontario who founded Developing Innovations -- at Developing Innovations "To Inspire, Celebrate, and Promote #STEM Learners." 

After winning his 4th Gold Medal at the York Region Science Fair and advanced to the Canada-Wide Science Fair, Aidan realized there were lots of amazing kids out there working hard, creating and discovering amazing things. With them in mind, he created Developing Innovations. Developing Innovations has featured and celebrated over 65 young scientists from around the world on the website. There are so many hardworking young scientists out there that are trying to make a difference. By being featured on his website, they get the exposure they deserve and are encouraged to keep working hard. It is a place to celebrate their accomplishments and inspire other kids to follow in their footsteps.

What began as a forum for students to share their creations has grown into a movement that involves and inspires more than 20,000 students. Developing Innovations has hands-on outreach programs on exotic insects, prehistoric fossils, and space exploration that pair mentors with children at schools, camps, and clubs for kids.
