Co-host Ethan Dettenmaier and correspondent John Bierly help Peace Fund founder Adrian Paul celebrate his birthday by announcing a new way to help Adrian raise money for the Peace Fund. Statistics and preventive measures for child drowning are also discussed. Louis Fawcett, the Director of Development for Peace Fund partner charity Mercy and Sharing (mercyandsharing.com), calls in to preview his upcoming visit to Haiti, to share thrilling news about the Haitian orphans we've helped to educate, rejuvenate, and shelter via the show, and to talk about what else needs to be done for Haiti's children. Finally, we learn about Hero of the Week Michelle Duan, who wears many hats as a volunteer at Boston Children's Hospital and serves as president of the Massachusetts chapter of Measures for the Future (measuresforthefuture.org), which she helped found to bring the healing and educational powers of music to as many children as possible. All this plus the winners of this week's caption contest!
