On today's show, Adrian and Ethan discuss child abuse awareness.

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month

National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect and promotes the social and emotional well-being of children and families.

Child abuse crosses all socioeconomic and educational levels, religions, ethnic and cultural groups.

Child abuse takes many forms - physical, emotional, verbal, sexual, neglect, exploitation, and more. When we think hear the words child abuse, we normally first think of physical abuse, but the shocking truth is neglect is the number one form of child abuse in America.

The United States has one of the worst records among industrialized nations – losing on average almost five (5) children every day to child abuse and neglect.
